This site is now back online. Sorry about the delay. Thanks to all the people who contacted us asking about the state of the site - shows how much it is used!

Thanks to Opsera for providing the new hosted server.

Unfortunately, we had a RAID hardware failure on our previous hosted server which caused the website outage. Even worse was the fact that the backups were held within that disk array. The last offsite backup was from July 2008, so we have reverted back to that time. Any data since then has been lost.

We've got better procedures in place now for backups, including offsite storage. We've also got a migration process in place for changes to our content management system before making it live.

And we've got a monitoring system in place now to tell us when the site is down. You may have heard of it...
