New website!

Launching the new Nagios Plugins website! This site is for all information regarding the Nagios Plugins, the official plugins to Nagios.

Some sections are still to be developed, but we now have a site that we can easily add content to, so expect more information in the FAQ and the Manpages to grow over time.

While anyone can browse the site, you have to register to add comments (for spam prevention). We hope you will add comments to the manpage sections as you discover new tricks from using the plugins.

Great website. I added it

Great website. I added it to my favorites. I am looking for a couple of plugins:

1. I need to be able to monitor a website address to include a port and string. For example http://myweb.mypage:8080/astring.login

2. I nned to monitor a service on a RedHat Linux server. For example Apache.

I could not get the url syntax using check_http. Any suggestions.

I cannot find a plugin to monitor Linux services.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

MikeV

Hi Mike, You'll get better

Hi Mike,

You'll get better help on the mailing lists, so I'd ask there.

Take a look at the check_http --help page to get ideas on how it will work with your required URL.
